Cute Lil Greta, Slobbery Atticus & Nakey Atticus

Easter morning before church! Notice little Atticus still in his highchair in his pajamas! We live right next door to our church and we still manage to be the last to arrive.

Atticus at my parents house. His first taste of something sweet, a jellybean! He had so much saliva he did not know what to do, nor did he care!

Atticus hanging out on mommy's chair before bedtime. He loves to play with his hair and ears when he is tired! He's so cute I can hardly stand it.

HOPPY EASTER!

We had a great time dyeing easter eggs this year! Greta had to be in total control which meant dye everywhere. I was freaking out. Thank goodness for soft scrub. One product I cannot live without, as well as clorox wipes - simply addicted! She had fun though! Growing up, my mom always made us an easter egg tree for easter, so I want to continue that tradition in our family. I can still see my mom turning purple, blowing out the yolks. Dusty tried to be creative and used a baby aspirator to do so. After 7 broken eggs, he finally managed to succeed! So here is our finished product. We just love it and have decided it's going to stay in our kitchen a little while longer!

Spring ahead!

I am very excited!
I talked to Dusty tonight about our blog and he has agreed to let me take pics of him working on his sculptures as well as the finished sculpts so everyone can get a better sense of what exactly he does! I also am encouraging him to FINISH his studio that has been in "the process" for quite some time.
We are looking forward to spring more and more. Greta is great at spotting robins in the yard. She cannot wait to play on her playground. It is SO muddy right now that I hate to even let them down outside. It's bad enough cleaning up after Charlie and Henry (our 2 adorable pups) everytime they go outside to do their business.
I did a bit of spring cleaning today while the kids were at Grandma's! Partially cleaned our basement (yuck) as well as the mudroom and loft. Our loft is the only area that contains carpet so we thought we better remove all of our storage. Now our children can enjoy playing on a soft area for a change. Also did 5 loads of laundry and I am still not done. Is it not amazing how the baskets are never emptied? It is one of my pet peeves that continues to bother me and will always bother me.
Oh and yes, the stimulus check...... At first we were going to pay off debt.....I know we are suppose to stimulate the economy, which we do enough of already. We both wanted to invest it at first - however, now that has changed. Dusty wants a plasma for the loft so the "kids" can watch movies. So I decided I want a new camera, bose speakers for my Ipod and for both our vehicles to be detailed before spring. Don't think the check is going to cover all of that so we will see who wins or who gets to that check first!
SO, new things are to come!
Pics of Dusty in action, his studio and the awesome outdoors at the Horner House. Cannot wait!

Watch out, Atticus is walking!

My baby is walking!

While on vacation at the cabin in Minocqua, Atticus took several steps and did not stop! He was so excited and proud. He loved exploring EVERYTHING and was non-stop. Of course we left the video camera at home, but luckily I had my camera and shot this quick video so you can see him in action. It's so strange to see him walking around the house. I am still expecting him to crawl and then there he is right by my side. He mastered standing up without holding onto anything the same day too. I am sure he'll be running soon! Greta is now interacting and playing with him more too, which is nice.

Oh the Horner House should be fun now!
